Alice Kim

She/Her

Clinical Psychologist

Master of Clinical Psychology, Western Sydney University

Alice is a clinical psychologist with a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma (including childhood trauma, first responders, and single or multiple traumatic events), grief and loss, and chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, cancer). Alongside Head in the Clouds, Alice works with young people experiencing mental health distress and their families within the public health system. She has previously worked at a university student counselling service and in private practice.

Alice’s approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. She approaches therapy in a collaborative way to help people learn more about themselves and make changes to lead more fulfilling lives. Alice understands that the journey of therapy can sometimes be challenging, but with the right support, it can lead to meaningful growth – even when things feel difficult along the way.

Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, discovering new music, and reading. She’s also on an ongoing mission to do more arts and crafts – from scrapbooking to embroidery, to hopefully, one day, learning to sew, knit, and crochet.
