She/Her
Clinical Psychologist
Master of Science (Psychology)
Postgraduate Diploma of Clinical Psychology
Niamh is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across public and private mental health settings in Australia and New Zealand. She has worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds and varying levels of complexity, including New Zealand’s indigenous communities. Niamh supports children, young people, and adults experiencing a range of challenges, including trauma related difficulties, anxiety, depression and mood concerns, grief, adjustment issues, and low self-esteem. Niamh particularly enjoys working with people who feel stuck and find themselves caught in patterns they don’t fully understand. She helps them make sense of how their past experiences may have shaped where they are today, and find ways to move forward.
Niamh’s approach to therapy is warm, gentle and collaborative. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she takes the time to understand each person as a whole and works alongside her clients to find an approach that matches their individual needs and goals. Above all, Niamh aims to create a space where clients feel safe and supported to better understand themselves, build trust in themselves, and move towards a life that feels meaningful to them.
Outside of the therapy room, Niamh enjoys keeping active through strength training, Muay Thai and long walks, usually balanced out by plenty of time listening to music and finding new coffee spots. Since moving to Sydney, she has also made it her mission to explore as many of its beautiful beaches as possible.
