Master of Psychology (Clinical), Australian Catholic University
Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Australian College of Applied Psychology
Kirsty’s work is typified by helping clients achieve changes in their life that they never thought possible. She is a worldly practitioner using professional experiences gained in London and Sydney to support a wide range of mental health issues. Kirsty enjoys supporting people in the areas of building confidence, learning to effectively manage difficult emotions (e.g. heightened anxiety, anger management), post-partum depression and anxiety, general adjustment to big life changes (e.g. parenthood, workplace, new relationships, break ups, etc.), and develop greater self-understanding to help guide decisions towards a more fulfilling life. Kirsty has a broad range of experience, having worked in public community mental health, not-for-profit organisations, and forensic settings.

Kirsty is a warm, compassionate, and empathetic psychologist who is easy to talk to. She respects each person’s individual journey through life, and her therapeutic approach centres on identifying and harnessing existing strengths and building self-compassion. Kirsty is passionate about empowering clients with psychological education and practical strategies to create changes that are sustainable in the long-term. It brings her great joy to celebrate the therapeutic gains alongside her clients in the process.

In her personal life, Kirsty has been known to have a serious case of wanderlust and has spent a lot of time exploring the globe. She also has a strong creative side (that often gets forgotten…) and is currently pursuing her long-term goal of completing a pottery course.
