Holly Warren (She/Her)
Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist Registrar)
Master of Clinical Psychology, Griffith University
Holly is diligent about learning all things psychology, and she is enthusiastic about caring for people in an individually-attuned, and culturally-inclusive way. Holly believes in taking the time to understand the person’s world and what would make life easier and more meaningful for them; this establishes a clear and useful direction for the ensuing journey. In pursuit of this she has worked across diverse settings, including Lifeline, Headspace, and inpatient mental health units.
Holly is kind, realistic, and transparent in her approach to therapy. She aims to be a consistent support for people, as they explore and resolve concerns around authenticity, intimacy and isolation, freedom and responsibility, purpose and meaning, wellness and mortality. Holly particularly loves helping clients celebrate and leverage the unique gifts they already possess, as a springboard for building new skills.
In assisting people to reduce distress and cope with stress, she is especially passionate about mindfulness-based techniques. By weaving in experiential components, Holly helps clients connect more deeply and more safely with their bodies.
When not in the therapy room, Holly enjoys finding beautiful nature spots (beaches are an all-time favourite), being a book worm, listening to music, and cooking.
